Time slips away as they move in sync, the music threading through every motion. Sweat beads on their skin, their breath coming in short, mingled gasps in the thick, humid air of the dancefloor. They stay like that—pressing close, drifting apart, trading slow touches and quiet, unspoken laughter—for what could be minutes or hours. Jayce doesn’t know. He doesn’t care. The music just keeps going, and so do they.
Jayce has never set foot in a goth bar before, but when their friends suggest a night out, they end up at one of Viktor’s favorite old haunts.
Viktor slips back into the scene like he never left—all black eyeliner, fishnets, and effortless grace. The air hums with bass, sweat, and laughter as they lose themselves on the dance floor. For Viktor, it’s a night of nostalgia; for Jayce, it’s something entirely new—dark, glittering, and thrilling in ways they didn’t expect.
